Jolanta studied for four years with Premier Training International (part of the Premier Global Group, a leading health and fitness industry Training Provider www.premierglobal.co.uk) and qualified with a Certificate in Nutritional Advice and a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy. She works at clinics in Bromley and Mottingham. Prior to qualifying as a Nutritional Therapist Jolanta spent many years teaching dance to undergraduate and postgraduate students at a number of top Theatre Academies in Central London.
Her interest in treating illness via nutrition was motivated by her youngest daughter’s development of eczema at 4 months of age.
“After continuous and numerous visits to the GP and the Consultant at the local hospital where I was given endless tubes of creams, I realised that I had to find another way to help my daughter. I trawled the internet for information on allergies and the immune system, and eventually came to the conclusion that the medical profession’s help was finite. Understanding how nutrition can impact health was going to be key in helping my daughter overcome her condition. I was right.”
Jolanta consults with clients individually, but also holds talks and presentations on Nutrition. She continues her interest in research to ensure that she can provide the best possible advice and education for her clients. This includes attending seminars and lectures for Continued Professional Development (CPD). She has full indemnity insurance and is a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT-www.bant.org.uk) and adheres to their strict code of ethics. She is also registered with the NHSTA – the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.
